Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has celebrated the landmark of producing 8 million cumulative two-wheelers in India.,SMIPL began its operations in India in February 2006 with the Access 125 at its production facility in Kherki Dhaula, Gurgaon. The first 4 million units were made in 13 years, with the next 4 million coming up in around 5 years. Notably, the 8 million production milestone was achieved in the 19th year, with the last 1 million units added in just one year.
